Selected for a competitive, full-time internship supporting election administration and initiative review processes within a government elections division. Participated in structured training and hands-on administrative work supporting statutory compliance and pre-election procedures for the 2026 election cycle. - Observed state government operations and participated in formal training related to election administration and public service functions
- Researched state statutes and procedural requirements related to the initiative and petition review process
- Reviewed initiative petition sheets for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with statutory requirements
- Supported administrative and data review functions within a structured government environment
- Assisted with documentation handling, verification, and quality assurance processes requiring high attention to detail
- Worked collaboratively with team members in a deadline-driven, compliance-focused environment
- Maintained strict objectivity, neutrality, confidentiality, and adherence to nonpartisan standards
- Adapted to changing procedures, priorities, and operational requirements throughout the program
- Knowledge of office professionalism and government operations

- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a university, community college, or technical program (high school juniors and seniors also eligible)
- Maintained minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 2.75 or higher
- Available for full-time participation for the entire program duration, including weekends, holidays (including July 4th), and overtime hours
- Met minimum age requirement of 16 years or older
- Demonstrated interest in public service, government operations, or related fields (preferred qualification)
