Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Location: Manhattan, KS
Job Type: Permanent Placement | Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay Range: $28.28 – $48.38/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends | No Call

Shift Options

• 8-hour: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 10-hour: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 12-hour: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Hours: 28, 32, 36, or 40 hours/week
• No weekend or holiday work
• 7 paid holidays for full- and part-time staff

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join a fast-paced, physician-owned surgical hospital. The facility performs approximately 20 surgeries daily, with a strong focus on orthopedics, total joint replacements, and sports medicine , along with multiple other specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Pull and prepare surgical cases, including instruments and equipment.
• Scrub for a variety of surgical specialties.
• Perform terminal cleaning and assist with room setup.
• Provide support across different specialties based on daily surgical needs.
• Float to Sterile Processing Department (SPD) when needed.
• Work closely with RNs and surgical teams to maintain efficient OR operations.

Required Qualifications

• Previous Surgical Technologist / Operating Room experience required.
• Strong orthopedic experience required.
• Experience with Zimmer and Arthrex instrumentation and equipment.
• Must be proficient across multiple specialties, including:
• • Orthopedics
  • ENT
  • GYN
  • Spine
  • Urology
  • Cataracts
  • General Surgery
• BLS certification required — AHA or ARC.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred.
• Must be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-specialty OR environment.
