School Occupational Therapist | San Francisco, California

This contract position spans the full 2026-2027 school year, where you'll play a key role in delivering vital OT services to K-12 students across several campuses within a diverse and engaging community setting.


Your expertise will help drive student success, foster independence, and support academic achievement. You'll connect with dedicated educators and collaborate on individualized plans, making a direct impact across multiple school sites.


Qualifications:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• Experience working in pediatric or K-12 educational settings (preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between school sites in the southeast area
• Passion for empowering students of varying abilities
• No educator credential required

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to a varied caseload of K-12 students across several assigned schools
• Conduct individualized assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed
• Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse learning environments
• Engage in ongoing professional development
