Job Overview Olde Yorke Fish & Chips is a well‑established, family‑owned restaurant. We are looking for a full‑time, hands‑on Restaurant Manager to work alongside the owner and team to oversee daily operations. Responsibilities Work hands‑on alongside the Owner & other Managers to oversee the daily operations of the dining room and takeout service. Lead, coach, and support the front‑of‑house team. Ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Identify opportunities to improve service and grow the business. Maintain and uphold operational standards, policies, and procedures. Foster a positive, respectful, and team‑focused work environment. Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the dining room and takeout while working alongside the team. Lead by example through a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Schedule staff efficiently to meet business needs. Manage inventory and place stock orders. Solve problems quickly and effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Build strong professional relationships with staff while motivating and supporting the team. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of management experience in a high‑volume, full‑service restaurant. Genuine passion for the restaurant industry, hospitality, food, and guest service. Willingness to work hands‑on alongside the owner and team every day. Available to work days, evenings, and weekends. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire others. Self‑motivated with excellent time management and a keen sense of urgency.
