Director of Global Logistics

The Director of Global Logistics is a highimpact strategic leader responsible for building and executing our global transportation strategy across all modes and regions. You will ensure the timely, reliable, and costeffective movement of materials and finished goods, while shaping longterm carrier partnerships, optimizing freight spend, and elevating logistics performance worldwide.

A key part of this role is partnering crossfunctionally with Supply Chain, Finance, and Planning to develop accurate, datadriven landedcost modeling-empowering better sourcing, supplier, manufacturing, and customerdelivery decisions.

• Lead and execute a global multimode transportation strategy (air, ocean, parcel, LTL, FTL, intermodal)
• Build global routing guides, transportation policies, and optimization frameworks
• Evaluate global network flows and identify opportunities to streamline cost, speed, and reliability

• Lead global carrier negotiations, RFPs, and contract renewals, driving performance and cost advantages
• Strengthen strategic relationships with carriers to ensure high service levels and operational resilience
• Manage global transportation risk, including carrier diversification and contingency planning

• Own global freight audit and payment processes; ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial stewardship
• Partner with Finance to enhance freight accruals, GL coding accuracy, and financial controls
• Lead global costdown and costavoidance initiatives to reduce freight spend
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to develop, refine, and maintain landedcost models

• Oversee global transportation KPIs, analytics, and performance dashboards
• Improve OTIF/OTD, transit reliability, premium freight use, and overall service consistency
• Lead the strategy for TMS, visibility platforms, and digital transportation capabilities
• Drive data governance, reporting discipline, and analytics automation

• Lead and develop the Sr. Manager of NA Logistics and Logistics Analysts
• Build a culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and crossfunctional partnership

• 15+ years of global transportation and logistics leadership experience
• 10+ years managing regional or crossfunctional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Expertise in multimode transportation, carrier negotiations, and freight procurement
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including cost modeling and logistics P&L understanding
• Proven record of achieving logistics cost reductions and operational improvements
• Ability to travel globally 10-30%

• Master's degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain)
• ASCM/CLTD/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, IATA/FIATA, or similar certifications
• Experience using freight audit/payment platforms and transportation analytics tools
• Background in hightech, industrial, or regulated manufacturing

Salary Pay Range: $168,300-$280,500 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerationspermittedby law.

At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to bedeterminedby MKS [or as applicable].
