Position Overview

Tufts Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Keansburg, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities and needs through thorough assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals, setting measurable goals in collaboration with patients.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, especially focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs, fostering a partnership in care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to track progress and ensure compliance with established protocols.
• Actively engage with the larger clinical team to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary for improved outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric individuals, each with unique rehabilitation needs. You will have the opportunity to work with patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or seeking sports rehabilitation. The focus is on restoring movement, enhancing quality of life, and educating patients about self-management strategies that align with their personal health goals.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and treatment planning.
• A strong desire to build rapport with patients and their families, empowering them to achieve functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, additional experience in specialized areas such as pediatric therapy or sports rehabilitation is highly desirable. A commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry best practices will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
