Staff Accountant Location: 200 Country Club Road, Meadowlands, PA 15347 (Meadowlands Division) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No rotating shifts) This is an on‑site role; remote or hybrid work is not available. Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 annually. About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented accountant to support the controller and executive leadership team in managing the company’s accounting and financial operations across all divisions. The position includes day‑to‑day accounting functions, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do Work closely with the president, controller, accounting clerk, and human resources manager to support company‑wide financial operations. Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. Oversee customer invoicing and billing processes. Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, including process design and system effectiveness. Handle intercompany transactions and assist in preparing consolidated and entity‑specific financial statements. Support executive management in preparing operating forecasts, budgets, or special reporting by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. Perform administrative support tasks such as managing company mail and maintaining organized financial records. Assist with external audits (ESOP, pension and year‑end), preparing documentation and working with auditors. Perform additional duties as needed. Requirements Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. At least 2 years of accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or multi‑entity accounting environments.
