Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while articulating each step with compassion and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate top-notch diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging devices, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and ensure patient records are maintained within the electronic health system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
