The primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding service and value to our members through genuine care, personal service, and meeting needs and expectations across multiple branch locations. The MEA is also directly accountable for achieving individual sales targets and is measured as an individual contributor. Responsibilities Perform fundamental customer interactions, including Member Services and product sales, across all seven core functions and any required growth skills depending on branch needs. Assure knowledge and proficiency with AAA products and services, consistently applying consultative sales techniques to uncover needs, present solutions, and close opportunities. Promote AAA products and services to members to achieve individual and branch goals, reinforcing the value of Membership regardless of location. Understand and anticipate member needs, recommend relevant solutions, and demonstrate flexibility in adapting solutions to each branch environment. Maintain compliance with branch operations, standard operating procedures, and all regulatory requirements. Work 5 days a week, including two Saturdays. Knowledge and Skills Exceptional customer service skills with a professional, friendly attitude and strong problem‑solving ability. Strong sales acumen with a proven record of meeting or exceeding goals. Active listening, adaptable thinker, and strong communicator who can uncover needs and close sales while maintaining consistency across locations. Proficiency with multiple computer systems and applications, with the ability to adapt to varying system configurations. Strong product knowledge of all AAA services and adherence to fiduciary accountability. Operational excellence, ensuring process implementation and compliance on end‑to‑end flow to meet objectives. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2–4 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a sales role. Prior experience in insurance, retail, hospitality, service industries, or call centers highly valued. Current and valid driver’s license required; bonding/fingerprinting and P&C licensing may be required depending on branch needs. Physical ability to stand, walk, sit at a desk, and lift up to 15 pounds. Approximately 50–80% of work involves a personal computer. Ability to travel between locations and work Saturdays. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding defined sales standards and goals. Prior customer service experience. Working Environment & Minimum Physical Requirements Positions are in branch office environments where staff stand, walk, or sit at workstations for extended periods. Employees may need to travel by car, plane, or other transportation to attend business meetings. Compensation Starting rates vary by region, ranging from $23.00 to $26.95 per hour. This role is subject to an incentive plan that includes commissions. Most employees earn between $270 and $3,500 in incentives annually, contingent on performance.
