Optum - Sr. Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner
100% remote
6 Month contract, likely extension or conversion to FTE
Project: Creating a new Enterprise Analytics Platform with end to end from data sources, ETL application.
Responsibilities:
- Translate the Roadmap/Milestones to driving Sprint backlog features
- Complete user stories grooming and staying on top of the Next sprint readiness and ensure Rally housekeeping items are updated/maintained (while working with Scrum Master)
- Continued due diligence provide requirements/features for TPO consumption to Roadmap/Milestones
- Will be hands on gathering requirements and feeding it to the Product Manager.
- Features, capabilities, requirements, capability analysis, etc.
- User Stories
- Already have roadmap for next 6 months and features are defined so need to translate those features to the scrum team. Run the meeting, break down features into stories, and capture what they needing to deliver in the next 2 weeks.
- Sprint readiness, will prepare the stories so the scrum team knows which stories to pick up.
- Helping the SM with stories and preparing for the next sprint.
- Give me the velocity so I know where we are at within the sprint.
- This resource will be leading Sprint review sessions. Teams is currently on 2 week sprint cycles.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in E2E Analytics - ETL/Metrics, Cloud, using Cloud Azure
- Sr. Business Analyst/Product Owner
- Self-starter, Independent, Ambiguity, dive in and ask questions, be proactive.
- Experience in Cloud, using Cloud Azure.
- Aha! and Rally for stories and backlog. Open to candidates having similar tool experience such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
Required Skills: Experience in E2E Analytics - ETL/Metrics, Cloud, using Cloud Azure - Sr. Business Analyst/Product Owner - Agile/Scrum experience, User Stories
