CMM Programmer
In this role, you'll be programming and operating our CMM machines. You'll be working in a climate controlled environment and will be responsible for in-process and final inspections.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years CMM programming experience
- Knowledge of PC-DMIS to verify dimensional compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and product specifications to ensure accurate dimensional inspection and compliance with quality requirements
- Perform manual dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools
- Incorporate measurement data in the preparation of inspection and quality reports
- Investigate and resolve dimensional and measurement-related issues by collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing inspection programs to improve accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability
In addition, any experience in any of the following would be considered highly beneficial:
- Programming and operating Optical Vision Measuring Systems (VMS) for dimensional inspection
- Generating First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports in accordance with customer and quality requirements
- Calibrating internal inspection tools and measuring equipment and maintaining accurate calibration records
