If you thrive in complex lab environments, enjoy solving difficult technical challenges, and want your work to have an immediate impact on future infrastructure programs, this role offers exceptional technical depth and career growth.This Role OffersHighly competitive compensation package plus equity.Opportunity to work with leading edge compute and infrastructure technologies before broad market deployment.Collaborative team environment with significant ownership and technical influence.Exposure across compute, networking, storage, cooling, and power systems.Career growth within a rapidly expanding engineering organization.What You Will DoValidate next generation compute platforms from initial hardware installation through operational readiness.Perform system integration activities including rack installation, firmware configuration, operating system deployment, and infrastructure verification.Develop repeatable validation procedures that improve hardware qualification efficiency and deployment consistency.Execute functional, reliability, performance, and stress testing across servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and supporting infrastructure.Investigate hardware, firmware, operating system, and platform level issues while partnering with internal engineering teams and external technology vendors.Support qualification of advanced networking environments, including high bandwidth switching, optical connectivity, and infrastructure performance testing.Participate in validation efforts for high density cooling solutions, facility infrastructure, and supporting mechanical systems.Verify platform health using management interfaces, telemetry, diagnostics, and monitoring tools.Create comprehensive technical documentation including validation reports, operating procedures, and deployment guides.Contribute recommendations that improve product reliability, deployment readiness, and operational scalability.What You BringBackground deploying and evaluating large-scale computing infrastructure, including data processing, connectivity, and performance-focused systems.Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.Hands on experience working with platform management technologies such as IPMI, Redfish, or similar hardware management interfaces.Ability to automate testing using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or comparable tools.Experience diagnosing issues across hardware, firmware, operating systems, and software components.Familiarity with structured validation methodologies, root cause analysis, and engineering documentation.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment with multiple concurrent projects.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting high density compute infrastructure.Knowledge of liquid cooling technologies or advanced thermal management systems.Familiarity with high-performance networking technologies and optical connectivity.Exposure to Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, or large-scale provisioning environments.Experience with electrical, power distribution, or infrastructure monitoring systems.Understanding of storage validation, benchmarking, or performance analysis.About Blue SignalBlue Signal is an award-winning, executive search firm specializing in various specialties.
