Avenues Recovery is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with locations across multiple states. We provide highly individualized treatment in clean, modern, comfortable facilities, offering every level of care from detox through outpatient services.

Our Corporate Office in Lakewood, NJ supports the operations of our facilities nationwide. We're looking for a professional, organized Receptionist to help ensure our office runs smoothly while providing a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and guests.

Position Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk and serving as the primary point of contact for visitors to our Corporate Office. This role supports daily office operations by coordinating guest arrivals, assisting with meetings and trainings, and handling administrative tasks that contribute to an efficient and professional workplace.

The ideal candidate is professional, polished, dependable, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all visitors, employees, and vendors entering the Corporate Office.
• Manage front desk operations and direct visitors to the appropriate departments or meeting locations.
• Coordinate guest arrivals and notify team members when visitors arrive.
• Provide tours of the office and welcome facility employees visiting for trainings or meetings.
• Coordinate breakfast, lunch, and refreshments for meetings, visitors, and office events.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Assist with scheduling, administrative projects, and general office support as needed.
• Perform other administrative duties to support the Corporate Office team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in our Lakewood, NJ Corporate Office.
