MSAT Scientist II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an MSAT Scientist II to support manufacturing process development and technology transfer for injectable pharmaceutical products. The role involves formulation design, process scale-up, documentation, and technical collaboration with clients and internal teams in a sterile manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technology transfer activities and manufacturing process development for injectable products
• Design and execute experimental studies to establish formulations, pathways, and component selection
• Prepare technical documentation including protocols, work orders, summaries, and project status reports
• Support manufacturing operations in formulation, filling, and freeze-drying areas as subject matter expert
• Lead projects with moderate supervision, implement change controls, and troubleshoot technical issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or related physical science
• 2+ years of related experience with Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree in relevant field
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and pharmaceutical development methodology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with excellent written and presentation skills
• Experience in contract manufacturing organization or pharmaceutical product development preferred
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and learn new pharmaceutical processes and equipment
