This position offers the flexibility of remote work while still operating within an outpatient office setting. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that fosters consistency for both staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' specific goals, preferences, and needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate emotional and behavioral change.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their healing journey.

• Regularly monitor and document progress towards treatment goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other medical personnel to provide integrated care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the treatment of mood disorders to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Contribute actively to team discussions through case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and help destigmatize mental health issues within the community, particularly for marginalized populations.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of New Jersey.
