Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients address personal issues and achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate couples therapy, guiding partners through relationship difficulties by enhancing communication and problem-solving skills.

• Support families by addressing interpersonal dynamics and teaching effective coping strategies to navigate challenges together.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Assess and diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive evaluations, incorporating both clinical observations and client reports.

• Collaborate with other medical and mental health professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care, ensuring all aspects of their well-being are considered.

The clients you will serve range from individuals seeking support for anxiety and depression to couples addressing relational concerns and families navigating life transitions. This role requires sensitivity and an understanding of diverse backgrounds, as each client presents unique experiences related to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a demonstrated ability to provide effective therapy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.
\n
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on client feedback and evolving needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Systemic Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
