As a Paralegal specializing in Family Law, you'll play a pivotal role in our dynamic legal team. Your responsibilities will include trial preparation, drafting motions, managing calendars, and conducting legal research. You'll also support depositions, prepare witnesses, and assist during court proceedings. We're looking for someone with at least one year of experience in family or personal injury law, proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite. Familiarity with Apple computers is a plus. $37,000 - $60,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with family law standards.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records to support efficient case management.
• Coordinate and schedule client meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support attorneys in developing case strategies.
• Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, documents, and witness lists.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information.
• Support attorneys during depositions and court hearings, ensuring smooth proceedings and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Experience in family or personal injury law for at least one year.
• Ability to draft and review legal documents with precision and adherence to family law standards.
• Proven track record of conducting comprehensive legal research to support case strategies.
• Proficiency in managing and organizing case files, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
• Skill in coordinating and scheduling client meetings, court appearances, and depositions.
• Experience in assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists.
• Ability to provide effective support during court proceedings, ensuring all necessary documents are available promptly and accurately.
