Description:
• The position involves providing counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a clinical setting.
• Located in Brooklyn, NY, this contract role requires working from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• The Social Worker will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance clients' emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.

Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current New York State LMSW or LCSW license.
• Experience providing counseling or psychotherapy services.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications:
• Familiarity with person-centered planning and trauma-informed care.
• Experience in a mental health or outpatient clinic setting.
• Experience adapting therapeutic interventions for individuals with cognitive or communication challenges.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
