About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP Controller to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the organization, with a primary focus on financial reporting, and SEC compliance. This role demands a professional with a CPA and a minimum of 12 years' of progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for a background that includes both public and private accounting. The VP Controller will be responsible for the preparation of detailed financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures in accordance with SEC, FASB, and PCAOB regulations, as well as handling various SEC filings. A deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience in areas such as ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 805, particularly in complex scenarios like revenue recognition, lease accounting, and M&A accounting, is essential. Applicants for the VP Controller position at the company should possess superior technical accounting knowledge and a proven track record in designing and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting. Expertise in ERP and General Ledger systems, with a preference for SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft, is required. The role also demands proficiency in reconciliation software and SEC reporting tools.
