Social Worker - LCSW Profession: Social Services Specialty: LICSW Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Mental Health or Healthcare License: Massachusetts License in hand Certifications: LICSW Must-Have: Mental Health and/or Healthcare experience required Oncology/serious illness experience preferred Knowledge of the NASW Code of Ethics and Standards of Home Health Care Description:This position requires a dedicated ambulatory social worker providing clinical social work services to patients and their families.The role focuses on clinical psychosocial assessment and intervention, including crisis response, individual, couples, and family consultation, therapy, and counseling.Short-term bereavement support is also part of the responsibilities.Candidates must be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to reduce cancer-related distress and improve quality of life.Experience in biopsychosocial assessment, family therapy, individual counseling, and crisis intervention is essential.An understanding of Advance Directives in hospice and high-risk intervention for patient vulnerability or safety risk is required.Familiarity with cultural issues and resources for child and adult protective services is important.Delivering services to patients with all cancer types is expected.The position involves working on a team with experienced oncology social workers.Social work is highly respected and utilized by the multidisciplinary team.Hybrid work model includes 3 days on-site and 2 remote. #J-18808-Ljbffr
