Office Administrator

Founded in 1998, AVL has grown into a North American leader in turnkey engineering, manufacturing, and assembly solutions and we have just opened a new manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. For over 25 years, we've combined in-house mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering with custom acoustical design and airflow analysis to deliver fully integrated power‑generation and energy‑storage systems. About the Role The Office Administrator's primary function is to act as a liaison between the organization, managers, employees, and guests. Perform general office administrative duties for the company. Responsibilities Greet visitors courteously and professionally and direct them to staff. Assist visitors with our sign‑in procedure and ensure they have the appropriate PPE if required. Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements. Ensure all public office areas are clean and professional‑looking, including kitchenettes and coffee centers. Arrange refreshments or lunch deliveries for meetings when requested. Collect date‑stamp and distribute mail daily. Arrange for couriers and handle all out‑going mail, e.g. delivery to post office, registered mail. General typing, photocopying, faxing, and filing. Ordering Office, Kitchen, and Coffee center supplies. Miscellaneous Data entry as required. Assist those entering the building for job interviews. Assist in administrative recruiting functions. Qualifications A degree or diploma in Business Administration or equivalent in a relevant field. Required Skills High proficiency in using PC applications, including Word, Email, Excel, and PowerPoint. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities and manage time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
