About the Position

Position Description

A municipal EMS system in Georgia is seeking an experienced EMS Medical Director to provide physician oversight, clinical leadership, and regulatory guidance.

This role ensures high-quality prehospital care, protocol compliance, and continuous system improvement across EMS operations.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Active Georgia medical license (unrestricted)
Board Certified/Eligible (EM, EMS, FM, IM, or related field)
Minimum 3 years EMS medical direction or clinical oversight experience
DEA registration (if applicable)
❤️ ACLS or equivalent certification
Strong knowledge of Georgia EMS rules & protocols
Experience in QA/QI and EMS education preferred
