Technical Operations Manager

Seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Manager, the full-time remote position will oversee the intersection of IT, security, DevOps, and infrastructure to ensure the reliability and compliance of an AWS-native Medicare platform while building out policies, tooling, and a team. Key responsibilities Apply AI and agentic tooling to enhance DevOps, infrastructure work, and InfoSec processes Own the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of the AWS-native infrastructure, driving CI/CD maturity and observability Lead security compliance programs, manage corporate IT operations, and build a small, effective team as the function grows Required qualifications 5+ years in technical operations, DevOps, infrastructure, or security leadership, with 2+ years managing teams Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA) Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or fintech is preferred Excellent judgment under pressure and ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
