Here, you will make an impact by:Leading 50+ production hourly employees on the 2nd Shift.Implementing process improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity at the DK6 Distribution Center in DeKalb, IL.Determining staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the shift.Supporting Lean Six Sigma annual cost savings goals and leading the 2nd Shift Crew in Lean Management System Tier meetings.Willingness to work 2nd Shift hours (2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Three (3) years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing leadership role in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or Engineering from an accredited institutionFive (5) years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environmentSkills include public speaking, conflict resolution, time management, team building, data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of all warehouse processes.Work location:DeKalb, ILTravel: May include up to 5% domestic.Relocation: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
