The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Warehouse Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leads 50+ production hourly employees on the 2nd Shift . Implements process improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity at the DK6 Distribution Center in DeKalb, IL. Determine staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the shift. Supports Lean Six Sigma annual cost savings goals and leads the 2nd Shift Crew in Lean Management System Tier meetings. Willingness to work 2nd Shift hours (2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Three (3) years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing leadership role in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or Engineering from an accredited institution Five (5) years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment Skills include public speaking, conflict resolution, time management, team building, data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of all warehouse processes. Work location: Work location: DeKalb, IL Travel: May include up to 5% domestic.
