Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical / Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a team-based care delivery model, working with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and virtual nurses.
• Manage a patient load with ratios of Days 1:8 and Nights 1:9, providing comprehensive care.
• Float frequently to various units to meet hospital staffing needs, including potential floating to Bellevue campus.
• Administer and manage titratable drips, perform complex wound care, and handle respiratory equipment.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and ensure accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including sepsis, cardiac disease, and COVID-19.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Prior experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.
• Ability to work in a 100% nicotine-free facility environment.
• Pending Nebraska RN State License accepted, but must be available before submission.
