About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Tele Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a large, urban hospital License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of experience required - Epic charting experience required - Ability to float to meet staffing needs Description: Holiday coverage needed. All staff are required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Travelers are first to float. Registered Nurses must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs. Travelers may be assigned to facility's sister campus. Certifications required include BLS, and ACLS is strongly preferred. Drips experience is required on all floors. First-timers not accepted unless they have 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Academic Medical Center. All travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with the application. Weekend obligations include 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Personnel must adhere to a 100% nicotine-free policy. Candidates must be more than 100 miles away from the facility. Pending licenses accepted; however, a valid license must be in hand at the time of submission. Scrubs must adhere to the required color and logo. Professionals can obtain a parking permit or use daily rate parking. The facility is a leading institution providing care to complex patients. Support teams include care techs, transport, and paramedics.
