Overview
Registered Nurse, PACU — travel assignment in Lodi, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,940 – $2,027 per week, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment requires active RN licensure in the practice state and assumes eligibility for a temporary travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated post-anesthesia nursing care for a patient or patient group using the nursing process.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status; recognize changes in condition and respond appropriately.
- Develop and implement an individualized care plan; coordinate care with anesthesia, surgical teams, and ancillary staff.
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and manage post-anesthesia recovery in a safe environment.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks and coordinate duties across the healthcare team.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and post-discharge care instructions; provide learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC or equivalent) and ensure continuity of care across shifts.

Requirements
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PACU or an acute care setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced PACU environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Eligibility to work a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM day schedule and perform required duties in a short-term acute care setting.
