Overview
Registered Nurse – PACU travel assignment. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,453-$2,527. Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week). Work setting: acute care perioperative recovery environment. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to PACU patients across age groups as assigned
- Monitor post-anesthesia recovery, assess vitals, and manage pain control and patient comfort
- Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process and medical care plan
- Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and significant others about recovery, discharge planning, and follow-up needs
- Delegate appropriate tasks to other licensed staff according to competence and scope of practice

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license and ability to practice as a RN in the applicable jurisdiction
- PACU or perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a postoperative recovery setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and teaching skills; comfort with discharge planning
- Care for patients across age groups as assigned by unit needs
