D.P. Dough Amherst is hiring experienced and dependable Kitchen and Cashier Team Members , with management and leadership opportunities available for qualified applicants .

Part-time positions are also available and are a great fit for college and high school students looking for flexible work experience.

Our full-time positions are ideal for applicants seeking steady hours, consistent employment, and the opportunity to grow with an established restaurant brand. Full-time applicants must have at least two years of experience in the same or a similar restaurant, kitchen, cashier, or food-service position .

Experienced candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, dependability, and restaurant knowledge may be considered for Shift Leader or Management positions .

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality food according to D.P. Dough recipes
• Take customer orders and accurately operate the POS system
• Make dough, prepare ingredients, assemble orders, and operate ovens
• Stock, date, rotate, and record inventory
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Follow opening, closing, sanitation, and food-safety procedures
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Support the team during busy, high-volume shifts

Management Responsibilities May Include

• Supervising and supporting team members during shifts
• Assigning tasks and maintaining efficient restaurant operations
• Ensuring food quality, order accuracy, and excellent customer service
• Overseeing opening and closing procedures
• Training and coaching new employees
• Handling customer concerns professionally
• Promoting accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant restaurant or food-service experience for full-time applicants
• Full-time availability
• Late-night and weekend availability is required
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to complete the D.P. Dough training program
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred for management candidates
