Job Title: Imaging Supervisor - Full Time Days

Reporting To: Operations Manager, Imaging Services
Seeking an Imaging Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations of the Radiology Department at Emanuel Medical Center . Reporting to the Imaging Operations Manager, this role is responsible for staff supervision, workflow management, compliance, quality assurance, and overall departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise front office and tech assistant teams along with imaging modality personnel.
• Maintain daily staffing, workflow coordination, and coverage .
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new hires.
• Enforce and uphold hospital policies, performance improvement plans , and professional standards.
• Serve as acting department lead in the absence of the Imaging Manager.
• Assist in disciplinary actions and performance evaluations of support staff.
• Foster a professional and collaborative environment for physicians, technologists, and support staff.
• Promote hospital mission and values in all interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, and CDPH regulatory standards.
• Maintain accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of imaging records and patient data.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor's preferred)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT - State of California)
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT)
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification required
• 2-5 years of relevant radiologic/imaging experience
• Demonstrated leadership, coordination, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in healthcare

Preferred Attributes

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Experience in hospital-based imaging services
• Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems, EHR platforms, and imaging workflow tools
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities
• Familiarity with CMS, Joint Commission, and CDPH audit expectations
