The Customer Service Associate III plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by handling moderate to complex inquiries related to policies, billing, and account updates. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, helping others, and working as part of a supportive, collaborative team. You'll engage with customers through inbound and outbound calls, written correspondence, and other communication channelsall while developing valuable insurance and customer service expertise

Key Responsibilities

• Handle moderate to complex customer inbound calls with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy
• Explain policy details and customer documentation clearly, including follow?ups and next steps
• Resolve routine, complex, and unique questions while striving for first?call resolution
• Actively listen, ask thoughtful questions, and demonstrate compassionespecially in sensitive or challenging customer situations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Balance inbound customer support responsibilities with offline administrative tasks.

Functional Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Highly organized and detail?oriented (there's a lot to learn!)
• Patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with diverse customer needs
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially basic Excel

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to insurance concepts, policies, or customer service environments

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

We are currently hiring two team members, one for each shift listed below. Please indicate your preferred shift when applying.

• 1st Shift: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM EST
• 2nd Shift: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST
• Onsite at 1125 RXR Plaza, 11th Floor, Uniondale, NY 11556

Compensation offered for this role is 17.98 - 26.16 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
