Benefits: Company parties Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Training & development Front Office Specialist Rizk Ortho | Busy Orthopedic Surgical Practice About the Role We are looking for an experienced, warm, and highly organized Front Office Specialist to be the face of our clinic. In this role you are the first person our patients see and the first voice they hear, so you set the tone for their entire visit. You will work hand in hand with our front office team, our clinical staff, and our physician in a fast moving orthopedic practice where no two days look the same. What You Will Do Patient reception and communication — You will greet every patient with warmth and professionalism, answer incoming calls, manage the front desk flow, and make sure patients feel cared for from the moment they walk in. You will be comfortable speaking with patients about their appointments, paperwork, and next steps in a clear and friendly way. Scheduling and appointment management — You will book new and follow up appointments, coordinate surgical and procedure scheduling, manage the daily provider schedule, confirm upcoming visits, and handle rescheduling and cancellations while keeping the calendar accurate and efficient. Patient check in and check out — You will check patients in upon arrival, verify and update demographic and contact information, collect copays and balances, and complete the check out process including scheduling any needed follow up visits before the patient leaves. Insurance eligibility and verification — You will verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments, confirm coverage details, identify authorization or referral requirements, and communicate any patient responsibility clearly and kindly. Records and chart organization — You will keep patient charts, folders, and documentation organized and up to date, scan and file records accurately, and make sure everything is in order and ready for each provider before the patient is seen. Daily operations support — You will review and prepare the schedule each day, flag any gaps or conflicts, coordinate with the back office and clinical team, and help keep the front of the clinic clean, welcoming, and well stocked. Required Qualifications (Mandatory) Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and verbal What We Are Also Looking For Prior front office experience in a medical or surgical practice; orthopedic experience is a strong plus Working knowledge of insurance eligibility and benefit verification Excellent phone, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong organization skills and attention to detail The ability to stay calm, friendly, and efficient in a busy environment A team first attitude and a genuine love for helping patients Reliability, professionalism, and a positive presence at the front desk Why You Will Love Working Here We have built something special here, and we mean it.
