Are you an experienced Fleet Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Automotive Mechanic looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? We have partnered with a 65-year-old, family-owned irrigation and landscaping company seeking a skilled Lead Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair their fleet of gas and diesel trucks, trailers, pickups, and landscaping equipment. If you enjoy troubleshooting mechanical problems, working with your hands, and keeping equipment running at peak performance you should learn more about this opportunity. Benefits:

- Diagnose and repair gas and diesel trucks, trailers, pickups, and landscaping equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot engines, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems
- Use scan tools and diagnostic software to quickly identify mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate service records and minimize fleet downtime
- Perform (or obtain certification to perform) New York State vehicle inspections
- 5+ years of experience as a Fleet Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Automotive Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics
- Comfortable using scan tools and computerized diagnostic equipment
- NYS Inspector Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- ASE Certifications are a plus
