Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification is required
• Experience working in mixed-grade or elementary special education settings is strongly preferred
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to a classroom of combined 2nd and 3rd grade special education students
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and challenges
• Adapt teaching materials and methods to support diverse learning styles
• Collaborate regularly with general education staff, support professionals, and families
• Maintain accurate records and data on student progress and behavior
• Contribute positively to the classroom community and overall school culture
