Montgomery Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, small animal practice, set along the beautiful Wallkill River.
We are looking to add a superstar, PART-TIME receptionist to our team. At least one year of customer service experience is required. Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
We are a busy practice with high client traffic so great communication with clients and team members is crucial.
Happy, dependable, multitasker will do really well in our clinic. Must have a love for animals and helping people and also be good with computers.
In this position you will:
- Be the face of our practice with the first and last impression our clients receive.
- Answer and make phone calls.
- Respond to and send text messages and e-mails.
- Scan and file documents.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Check clients and their pets in for appointments and accompany them into an exam room.
- Take brief medical history to help veterinary assistants when needed.
- Process payments.
