Peek's Accounting team takes pride in helping to create scalable financial solutions with the utmost accuracy and completeness for a thriving B2B SaaS software development business. We are looking for someone who is highly talented and passionate about identifying gaps and creating scalable accounting solutions for all facets of the business. In this role, you will make an immediate impact through your expertise in process improvement, hands-on full cycle accounting, and technical accounting guidance. You will collaborate with all departments across Peek on various special projects. Responsibilities Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close process and serve as one of the primary liaisons with external auditors.

Manage and mentor the accounting team, elevating close ownership across staff and senior accountants while stepping in on complex areas.

Evaluate, develop, and strengthen department controls, systems, and procedures in support of a scalable control environment.

Own technical accounting research and documentation, resolving complex business and technical issues and preparing supporting memorandums.

Partner with the Controller on financial reporting, audit readiness, and accounting policy across all entities.

Implement technology and process improvements to support new business initiatives and a faster, cleaner financial close.

Lead projects that contribute significantly to close efficiency and financial system optimization.

Manage and monitor all accounting systems used by the organization, including NetSuite.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting policies and regulatory standards.

Hire, train, motivate, and develop team members while supervising and delegating department work.

Skills you already have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Advanced degree or CPA certification.

5-7 years of relevant experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience at a public accounting firm.

Proficiency in researching technical accounting matters and preparing memorandums.

Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, including software development and ASC 606.

Experience in process optimization, simplification, and standardization.

Familiarity with ERP solutions and financial systems; experience with NetSuite preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Effective leadership and personnel management skills.

Nice to have Experience working in a high-growth startup.

Ability to work effectively in remote environments.

Experience managing large transactional data sets for accuracy and completeness.

Experience with intercompany accounting for multiple entities.

Familiarity with multi-currency translations.
