Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with supervising physicians or independently, executing your momentous role as needed
• Educating patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness strategies, and disease management techniques
• Prescribing treatments and medications following your scope of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or similar qualifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials or the willingness to obtain them within 90 days
