Program Coordinator

Program Coordinator Provides administrative and programmatic support to the Brain Tumor Center Scientific Director and drives coordination across research, clinical staff, and program operations. Offers dedicated administrative support to BTC, reporting directly to the Scientific Director and supporting BTC leadership. Serves as the key liaison between research coordinators and clinical staff, ensuring seamless care coordination for patients in research protocols. Organizes inpatient clinical call schedules for faculty and facilitates the weekly BTC multidisciplinary tumor board meetings, including documentation. Develops and implements BTC policies and procedures to improve patient care delivery. Manages BTC core facilities and equipment, coordinating vendor installation, maintenance, service contracts, and billing. Coordinates the BTC seminar series and events, scheduling speakers, travel, lodging, honoraria, and communications. Schedules and supports BTC meetings, program leadership, and large‑scale grant preparations (P01s, SPOREs, etc.), handling documentation and deadline tracking. Supports faculty recruitment visits with the Neurosurgery Department Faculty Affairs coordinator, including travel itineraries, seminar scheduling, and reimbursement. Facilitates communication among BTC members, disseminating announcements and opportunities. Assists with BTC reporting, operational tracking, and preparation of progress reports. Supports special projects and strategic initiatives, including website updates and maintenance. Position is contingent upon funding. Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts and 2–3 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) are required. Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Pay Range: $24.21 per hour (subject to qualifications and experience).
