Senior Product Owner

Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Senior Product Owner for their Charlotte, NC/ Jersey City, NJ/ Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Shape clear, outcome-driven scope from ambiguity across connected frontend and backend experiences
- Own and prioritize the product backlog in line with broader portfolio strategy
- Lead rigorous requirement definition and technical analysis (APIs, data, integrations, user flows)
- Tie together multiple systems and experiences into coherent, end-to-end solutions
- Operate horizontally across teams to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and maintain flow
- Step into teams to unblock delivery, accelerate progress, and stabilize execution - then transition ownership back once on track
- Manage diverse stakeholders with clarity, diplomacy, and firm decision-making
- Build trust, maintain momentum, and keep teams focused on outcomes
- Help evolve processes, responsibilities, and ownership models to improve how the product organization operates
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate product and portfolio value
Requirements:
- Strong systems thinking with proven integration experience across frontend and backend (non-negotiable)
- Ability to connect individual initiatives into a coherent portfolio strategy
- Stakeholder management across business and technology, with sound judgement and diplomacy
- Ability to influence without authority and align teams around shared outcomes
- Experience shaping or improving ways of working, operating models, or team structures
- Strong analytical and technical thinking
- Clear, concise communication
- Commercial awareness and focus on outcomes over activity
- Calm, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
- Senior product ownership in complex, high-visibility, cross-product environments
- Experience operating across multiple platforms, teams, and dependencies
- Track record of connecting frontend experiences with backend/data platforms
- Experience stepping into teams to recover or accelerate delivery in complex initiatives
- Experience contributing to product organization evolution or operating model improvements
- Enterprise platforms (data or experience, ideally both)
- Technical architecture, APIs, and integration-heavy ecosystems
- Internal and external platform integrations
- Senior stakeholder engagement and product storytelling
- Functional: Agile - Business Analyst
- Technical: Agile tools (Jira)
