Payroll Specialist
Schedule: Full-Time (Overtime Required)
Pay: $25/hour to start

Position Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to support high-volume payroll operations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong payroll experience is a plus, but we are open to training a candidate with a solid administrative background and a willingness to learn payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 100–300 employees
• Enter, review, and maintain accurate employee data in the payroll system
• Maintain organized and up-to-date employee files and records
• Track and update payroll-related data using Excel
• Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and efficiency
• Assist with payroll reporting and verification tasks
• Support additional payroll and administrative tasks as needed
• Work collaboratively to meet strict payroll deadlines

Qualifications & Skills

• Payroll experience strongly preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic data entry
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work every other Sunday for payroll processing
• Overtime required during payroll cycles
• May require occasional on-call availability
