Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate or Paraprofessional Certification required
• Experience supporting students with functional or developmental needs preferred
• Ability to collaborate with educators and support behavioral, social, and academic goals
• Previous experience in a school or classroom setting is a plus
• Calm demeanor and a patient, encouraging approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades with functional skills and classroom engagement
• Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assist students with daily routines, life skills, and learning activities
• Aid in behavior management and positively reinforce classroom expectations
