Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Oncology Location New Brunswick, NJ Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Medical Surgical Oncology unit, with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing services to patients. The role requires a compassionate approach to patient care while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism and safety. Responsibilities Deliver individualized patient care and support to oncology patients. Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in their health status. Administer medications and chemotherapy, adhering to safety protocols. Assist with patient education related to treatments and side effects. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital policies. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission. Current certifications: BLS, CHEMO (ONS/ONCC). ACLS preferred. Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
