Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new clients and their families to understand their unique backgrounds and mental health needs.

• Delivering individual and family therapy sessions that are tailored to the identified needs of clients, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Managing all necessary administrative tasks, including timely billing, documentation, and the development of individualized treatment and discharge plans.

• Creating crisis intervention and safety plans, alongside relapse prevention and wellness strategies to ensure clients maintain stable functioning.

• Complying with federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies, to uphold the highest standards of care.

• Engaging in ongoing training and continuing education to enhance your professional skills and competencies.
\n
• Contributing to case consultations and participating in agency meetings to promote best practices and collaborative care approaches.

• Completing all licensure requirements and mandatory training as dictated by the organization and state laws.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in California (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
