Accountant - Part Time

Accountant – Part‑Time Position: Accountant (Part‑Time) Department: Accounting Shift: 1st shift Posting Open: 7/15/2026 Responsibilities Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations. Prepare, enter, and review journal entries and month‑end deliverables. Assist with preparing reports, schedules, and reconciliations for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain GAAP‑compliant accounting records across general ledger areas, including cash, sales & use tax, payroll entries, and accruals. Assist with annual and interim audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations. Ensure adherence to accounting policies and contribute to updating and improving procedures. Recommend process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP. Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with ERP/accounting systems. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Systems‑savvy and comfortable learning new tools. Positive attitude and commitment to cross‑functional teamwork. Experience in a manufacturing environment and preparing sales & use tax returns preferred. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $28.85‑$35.10 per hour.
