Zanda partners with VCs, Founders, CEOs and CFOs when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments. Who’s the business Zanda is partnering with a high growth SaaS business based in Atlanta. The client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company that specializes in providing cutting-edge solutions to their clients, leading to increased efficiencies through data analytics. They are looking to appoint a Controller to identify and build scalable finance processes, whilst managing the statutory reporting. Responsibilities Develop and implement financial policies, processes, and related financial and operational systems Ensure quality over financial transactions Oversee and develop the accounting staff Management accounting of churn and other exciting SAAS metrics Maximize use of systems and ensure processes are efficient and controlled to minimize errors Oversee the company's financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management Prepare ad hoc financial analysis to support and inform corporate financial decisions Partner with peers and other department heads to provide financial guidance and decision making support Work with lenders on debt compliance and day to day communications Prepare and manage budgets and a rolling financial forecast including a cash forecast Coordinate annual audit Tax coordination with external preparers Qualifications CPA Qualification Someone who has been part of significant scale-up Competence with financial software and technology (Ideally Netsuite) Understanding of financial and accounting standards and regulations, strong balance sheet understanding Organizational and time management skills Leadership skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and motivate a sizeable accounting function Experience in process improvement and implementation Zanda is an equal-opportunity employer.
