Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Live Freely Psychological Health Center, your responsibilities will encompass a range of clinical duties designed to promote emotional health and stability among clients. Your role will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of individuals, couples, and families to identify their unique needs and develop targeted treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapy sessions—both remote and hybrid—using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.

• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure clients are on track to achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Documenting all client interactions and treatment updates in compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations.

• Providing psychoeducation and resources to clients to empower them in their mental health journey.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community organizations, to coordinate and enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will be focused on serving a diverse array of clients, encompassing individuals and families experiencing various emotional challenges. This includes those facing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. You will engage with clients from various cultural backgrounds, providing culturally-sensitive care that respects and honors the unique experiences of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, with demonstrated competence in therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional skills in communication and interpersonal relations, enabling effective rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Strong diagnostic and assessment skills and proficiency in formulating actionable treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
