Position: Temporary Accounting Assistant Pay Rate: $30 - $32/hr Location: Vista, CAKey ResponsibilitiesPost daily e-store transactionsProcess incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresIdentify and monitor overdue accountsFollow-up on Accounts Receivable to minimize delinquenciesVerify vendor billing accuracy, including product, quantities received and pricingMonitor the accounts payable ledger to ensure completeness and accuracyAssist in the resolution of any identified vendor discrepanciesSupport month-end close by preparing and adjusting journal entries, supporting schedules, and accounting reconciliations.Desired Skills, Attributes and Requirements3 – 5 years of experience in similar positionSolid understanding of the full cycle of accountingProficiency in QuickBooks is preferredInterested in this Accounting Assistant position, but don't have a resume?
