Front Desk Coordinator

Location: Rochester, NY Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pay Range: Competitive About the Role Contemporary Dentistry PLLC is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our office management team in Rochester, NY. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, compassionate, organized, computer-savvy, and has scheduling, record keeping, vendor management, phone and face-to-face communication skills. The Front Desk Coordinator will help greet and check in patients, process patients forms, walk patients to and from the treatment rooms, perform patient walk-out record keeping procedures, process payments and insurance paperwork, confidently interact with patients and vendors via face-to-face, phone, email and chat, process, organize and file financial, operational and clinical documents, etc... Responsibilities Meet and greet and walk out patients. Process, organize and file patient forms. Work with the Practice Management Software (PMS) to record and update various activities, such as patient treatment plans, walk-outs, payments, insurance claims, scheduling, etc... Interact with patients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns. Follow up with vendors. Organize and file documentation. Qualifications Previous dental, medical or service industry front-desk management experience preferred. Strong communication and patient care skills. Ability to stay organized in a busy clinical setting. Positive attitude and willingness to support the full team. Experience with Practice Management Software (PMS) preferred.
