Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs to formulate personalized therapy strategies that foster their functional achievements.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognition, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic, well-rounded care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to promote continued rehabilitation at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment as necessary, helping patients stay on track toward their goals.

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged and well supported

License and Certification

• Active Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is a must
